Sally left film in the early 1940's to marry her current husband, Arthur F. Kelly who was president of Western Airlines in the 1970's. His claim to fame is in creating "Wally"...the "Only Way to Fly" bird!

Ran a small bookstore in Bel Air called "The Bookworm". She and her son Jim, were both creators in several children's books.
