Kenneth Howard Smith on Remembering Annie Mae Bullock

The Old Days of the Hollywood Hills "Vanguard Six".  I was lead their by Anita Porre as a visitor.  It was the private religious sect of the Hollywood's elite.  The small meeting group included, Wayne Shorter, Jon Lucien, Dennis Potter, Brian Lambert, Herbie Hancock, Annie Mae Bullock, and this writer.

It was in early 1975, it was like blood in the water.  Let me see, Shorter and Hancock were from CBS Records, Lambert and Potter from Capitol EMI, Reps from Polydor Records, Porte and Smith (this writer) from Motown Records.

Missing was Warner Bros. Records and MCA Records from the meet and greet.  I could understand WB Records, as they signed Ike and Tina Turner to their Loma Records label back in the old days.
