Early Praise for #WAMeverywhere

Hi Sdc,

We've got another full slate of free online classes below. Sign up now or share with a friend. And please make a donation if you can.

While we launched #WAMeverywhere to keep our community connected and learning during this moment of crisis, this is part of a long-term effort to bring important trainings to women, girls, and gender non-conforming folks everywhere!

In addition to classes, we are getting ready to release new online training and all of WAM's SoundChannel trainings for free! Check back often for updates.

See you online!

Early Praise for #WAMeverywhere

We've loved seeing the WAM community come out in full force this week for our online classes. Our first two classes were attended by over 70 people each, with participants from 20+ cities, 10+ states, and at least 3 countries! The response has been amazing and totally affirming for the work that we do:

“Because we are all stuck at home these classes enable us to continue making art and connecting with each other. Actually I like the format so much that I think WAM should offer virtual classes even when we are out of quarantine. I learned so much today. This is so great!”  - Home Studio 101 participant

"I loved going over all the equipment - that tech part is what seems so intimidating but now it's demystified for me." - Intro to Vinyl DJing participant

“I am an Audio Production student and my professors are struggling (working so hard) to get us access to the information and the materials we need to be learning so any additional time and learning that can be provided while we’re stuck at home is so so appreciated. Keeping in touch with this community is so vital, but especially now.” - Home Studio 101 participant

Thanks to everyone for joining us, we're excited to keep it going!

Current interns have been hard at work during the shelter-in-place order, completing online trainings, preparing resumes, designing projects, and much much more.

"So far the [WAM Internship] has been life-changing. It showed me opportunities I never would have been exposed to before." - Intern Brianaca Sayles
