3 Tested Strategies for Successful New Music Releases
Over the last few years, the way artists release music has changed significantly. Instead of a couple of singles and then an album, artists are putting out a single a month to stay top of mind on top of the playlists.
In this new blog post, we examine the causes of these changes and share three tested release strategies from our Artist and Label Managers to help you maximize the power, profitability, and visibility of each new release.
Thank you to everyone who gave feedback or reported bugs on the new platform. We strive to constantly make things easier for you, and your feedback has helped us so much.
New Updates to the Platform
Here’s a look at some of the recent enhancements and improvements:
- Streamlined release forms to make it even easier to enter information. This includes splitting genres and subgenres, more autofill options, and other improvements.
- Trend charts are now scrollable.
- Now you can request your sales summary, invoices, or payouts and come back later to download them after the platform compiles the data. No more frozen screens.
- Payout overview shows account where payout was sent to.
- Mobile experience improved. No more invisible buttons, no horizontal tables, order always finishable etc.
- Plus many more minor enhancements.
Looking ahead:
- More detailed sales overviews with Top Countries and Top Shops for each release.
- Update Metadata and Artwork yourself even after you have finished your release, if you spot an error or if you want to change something.
Thank you for your continued feedback. We really appreciate it!
