Old Skool QueenE

HERE COMES OLD SCHOOL!
(Old Skool) QueenE goes back to the basics to learn how to play a musical instrument, the Lead Guitar. She was born back in the times and era when instrumental music drove the dance moves on the dance floor. Her teenage years were influenced by Junk Yard Band, Chuck Brown, Earth, Wind & Fire, EU and other bands and show. So why not take to learning an instrument?

QueenE has released several Singles this year and last year released her new Album November 2018.. Hear on her website (oldskoolqueene.com) her recent Single releases called Shut My Mouth, Dark Chocolaty, Keep It Right and Here Comes Old School part 1 & 2 that is making its way up all the music charts and is available on iTunes, Amazon, & GooglePlay.

Named “QueenE” due to being named Esther after her mother Esther and her Aunt Esther in her family.  QueenE added Old Skool to differentiate from all the Queens in the world and was told from her mother Esther that she has an old soul because she danced, mimicked and sang Rhythm & Blues songs from Doo Wop groups while growing up as a child. She and her brothers performed in talent shows and sung in their creative neighborhood bands as teens.

(Old Skool) “QueenE” started pursuing her dreams of becoming a Songwriter and Entertainer back in 2013 after writing and producing a few Singles for other Artists. She wrote and produced a Compilation Album called “We Are One” and then released her first solo Album in 2014 called “Victory Is Mine.”  This album showcases her creative writing style and shows off her ability to mix words and phrases as
a Poet and Rapper and it featured her gospel Singer mother on a song who is now deceased.

Her 2nd Solo Album was released in 2018 and includes First Go-Go Christmas song called Christmas Cheer along with her hot new Club Banger LaLaLa The Look and a Line Dance song called Here Comes Old School, pt. 1 & 2.

She is a Poet and Songwriter that has written songs in the past for others. QueenE acquired her talent from her late R&B/Gospel Bass Singer Father who once sung with DC's Doo Wop group called Glow Tones and her Gospel Singer Mother who sung and traveled around with a professional D.C. Gospel Choir called Jubilee Majestic directed by Kirdell Minor. And it is the very reason why she took her then 88 year old mother into the studio with her to cut the first track called “Victory Is Mine” to open and be the first song on her first album that adds the Gospel genre.

QueenE discovered iTunes in 2013 and appreciates ITunes for allowing her to self-publish and distribute through her Independent Small Promotion Business This Is 4 U; and she has released her second album, called Here Comes Old School November 2018.  This new Album includes a mix genre of music that has some tracks already released ahead  it as a Single namely Shut My Mouth, Dark Chocolaty, Here Comes Old School, Pt. 1 and LaLaLa, The Look.

QueenE is seeking to promote, highlight and bring positive messages of love and camaraderie with music with the added Go-Go flavored beats from the East Coast. She wants to shine the spotlight on the Washington D.C. area to show that there is talent here that has been brewing since the early days in the late 1970s when she was a teenager screaming for Stacey Lattisaw, Chuck Brown and Marvin Gaye, Blackbirds, Johnny Gill and Back Yard Band to name a few.

QueenE got the 411 for other genres such as this hip-hop Rap single she released a few years ago called “It’s All About Money” where she created a YouTube video to point to Donald’s Sterling’s excuse for Dementia. And her first solo album includes a couple of Holiday song tracks for Valentine Day and for Thanksgiving.
Go to your Digital store to get downloads of any of her Singles and new Album called “HERE COMES OLD SCHOOL” and her new Christmas Singles called CHRISTMAS CHEER and Ho Ho Ho Christmas that includes Apple & Amazon Music, Spotify, Pandora, Xbox, etc.

Straight out of D.C. comes the creative sounds of Poet, Singer-Songwriter, Old Skool QueenE. She writes mixed genre songs from her heart with R&B, Pop with Go-Go drum beats and flavor.
