Opening For Legendary Albert Lee on
Thursday April 18th, 2019 At 8 PM 

March 21, 2019--------------------------Hollywood, CA.  Eileen Carey, the recently named New Music Weekly 2019 A/C Breakthrough Artist of the Year, will be opening for "the guitarists' guitar player" Albert Lee at the coveted Rose Theater in Pasadena on April 18th 2019.  

The upcoming show follows an extremely successful night at the historic Saban Theater in Beverly Hills opening for legendary "American Pie" singer Don McLean. The night garnered press from several high-ranking media outlets who came from all over Los Angeles to cover Eileen's performance, including Time Warner Cable News, Huffington Post, LA Weekly, Argonaut, Beverly Hills Times Magazine, World News Network, and many more. 

To add to the string of high profile acts Eileen has been collaborating with this year, she will also be performing again at The Rose on June 8,thopening for the rock power-trio Wilson Phillips. Eileen will soon be releasing a new single called "Meet Me Halfway" this May, kicking off her trip to Nashville later in the month where she will be recording the rest of her new album with long time friend and producer Travis Allen. 

Eileen has been emerging in popularity over the last few years, having performed regularly in Nashville at the world-famous honky-tonks, like Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, Rippy’s, and Honky-Tonk Central. In 2018, Carey shared the stage with a slew of headliners, including Rita CoolidgeJefferson Starship, and Martha Davis and The Motels. The Cleveland, Ohio native now lives in Los Angeles where Eileen Carey has become a fixture in the city’s bubbling music scene.  In 2016, she was named the Independent Radio Networks "Crossover Artist," followed by a string of wins in the Los Angeles Music Awards, where she has crowned the 2016 "Female Country Artist," and the 2017 "Live Country Music Performer." Also in 2017, the singer snatched the National Radio Hits award for "Favorite Female Country Artist of the Year." Last year, New Music Weekly voted Eileen its 2018 "Breakthrough Country Artist of the Year," and received the 2018 Producers Choice Honors Award for "Female Solo Country Artist of the Year," a prestigious event held at the Hard Rock Live in Las Vegas. This year New Music Weekly nominated Carey for four awards, winning their A/C Breakthrough Artist of the Year title.
