Wisconsin-Based Singer-Songwriter To Release

Third Single in March

Tim O'Grady Jr, an independent, Wisconsin singer-songwriter, will be releasing his third single "All the Things You Do" on all digital platforms on March 15, 2022. The song paints a realistic picture of the day and the life of a husband and wife with a family. It was written by Tim for his wife as a Mother's Day gift a couple years back and it serves as an eternal thank you for all of the things she does for their family on a daily basis. This single is the third and final one that will precede his highly-anticipated debut album The Dollar Man, to be released May 6, 2022.

Tim grew up in rural Southern Wisconsin, which is where most of the inspiration for his music comes from. His songs feature lyrics that paint pictures of everyday life, accompanied by traditional country instruments and sturdy vocals. Marc Gratz, for Midwest Music and Musings podcast, describes Tim as being "as genuine and humble as the songs he writes [and is] the personification of Wisconsin.

His music speaks to the realities of Midwestern life because that's the life he lives, the life he knows. He just happens to be a talented singer-songwriter who can bring those stories to life." That is the motivation for the release of this single and upcoming album, is to share these stories with the world and to preserve the story-telling tradition of traditional country music.

Tim O'Grady Jr was born and raised in a small town in Southern Wisconsin, from where he takes much of the inspiration for his songs. Tim grew up listening to a mixture of music from Blues, Rock and Roll, Americana, Country, and Orchestral music.

He taught himself to sing at a young age and joined the choir in the sixth grade as one of five boys in a choir of thirty. Not long after, he discovered a love for writing and coupled that with buying his first guitar at age 13.

He and two friends started a punk-rock band, called No Tricks, as freshmen in high school, where they performed for school functions and community events. No Tricks only lasted for a couple of years as they started to get jobs and girlfriends. Tim continued to perform and write into his college days, but as life became busier (work, getting married, and having a child) music took a backseat.

It wasn't until discovered the modern Outlaw Country movement in 2016, that music started to make a resurgence in his life. He got the chance to dive back into performing in June 2019 at a tavern in Beloit, WI, where he had been to see several other shows.

Since then, Tim has performed hundreds of shows throughout Wisconsin and Illinois. Those performances include opening for artists such as John Conlee, Josh Morningstar, Tony Logue, and Craig Gerdes. He has also written enough music to begin production on his debut album called The Dollar Man, which is scheduled to be released on May 6, 2022.

Nicole Barrett

Nicole-Marie is a hearing-impaired singer/songwriter from the Seattle/Tacoma area who writes songs in multiple genres ranging from Christian Contemporary to New Age, from Alternative Rock to Dance music, from Hip Hop and R&B to Country music.

Though she has performed in venues such as Jazzbones and Experience Music Project, she enjoys providing creative opportunities to others by writing songs for singers and collaborating with other musicians.

She has had the pleasure of working with the accomplished acoustic guitarist Will Reedy, the electric guitarist Frank Seeberger, drummers Chris Crumpler and Mike Loera, the rapper Abuladon, acclaimed Nashville guitarist Mark Baldwin, multi-talented musician Troy Engle, producer/musician Jeremy Cays and musicians Wayne Bliss, Chris Pyle, Bob Fox, the band The Cosmic Shuffle, producer/musician Taylor Carroll, Tom Kellock, Ben Smith, Garey Shelton, Lyle Ronglien, and Jason Shavey.

The first instrument she learned was the saxophone at age 9 and she made the switch to the clarinet at age 13. She studied piano starting at age 13 under Deanna Dent and she studied guitar starting at age 18 under Kevin Garry, blues guitarist and original member of the Steve Miller Band James "Curley" Cooke, German Briseno of Los Burbanks, Chris Lund of Loser, and Scott Paul Johnson.

She has released five albums: Storybook (2003), All the Lights of Heaven (2007), Tragic Romantic (2010), The Music Our Love Makes (2016) and Oaths of Abundance (2019). She has also released a number of singles, most recently: God Save the Kids, My Fourth of July, and Song of the World.

These latest three singles were released in 2021. Her song "White Light" won an honorable mention award in the 7th Annual Great American Songwriting Competition. Her songs "All the Lights of Heaven", "Hymn in Red", "I Smile", and "Grave Love" won bronze awards for being well-written songs by Beat100.com.

Her music has been played on several radio stations. Her song "Angels Speak to You" reached #12 and her song "Back My Way" reached #9 on maddradio.com. Her song "Single" reached #11 on newartistradio.com.

She entered the Song of the Year competition in June 2005 and received a "suggested artist" nomination for the genres of "folk" and "Christian" music. Her influences include Alanis Morissette, Kurt Cobain, John Denver, Michael W. Smith, Eva Cassidy and Prince.

She started losing her hearing in her early 20's and in 2010, she lost all hearing in her left ear and continues to have intermittent hearing loss in her right ear. At times, she is legally deaf. She hopes to inspire others to overcome their physical challenges by continuing to sing despite her hearing impairment.

She is a cancer survivor and a survivor of 25 years of narcissistic abuse. Her aim is also to make music that elevates the collective planetary vibration by exposing dark truths in order to bring them to the light and to spread a message of hope and healing so that we may all transcend all programming that keeps us from fifth dimensional living.

Sheri Streeter-Smith - Desiree Gibson Thompson May have been found after ten years

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Authorities were digging at a California City home Friday after receiving information there was evidence related to a woman who went missing a decade ago, her mother told 17 News.

Sheri Smith, mother of Desiree Thompson, said police informed her the activity at a home in the area of Lime Avenue and 87th Street was connected to her daughter’s disappearance in January 2012. Thompson was 30 at the time.

Earlier, California City Police Chief Jon Walker stressed the digging had nothing to do with the investigation into the disappearance of Orrin and Orson West, and the occupants of the home were not involved.
